Islam Issa Accompanies Egypt National Team on World Cup Journey
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour confirmed that Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, will invite Islam Issa, the star of Ceramica Cleopatra, to join the Pharaohs' delegation for the 2026 World Cup.
Islam Issa suffered a cruciate ligament injury during the match between the Egyptian national team and the Spanish national team last March, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
Khaled Al-Ghandour added on the "Stad Al-Mehwar" program that Hossam Hassan appreciates all the players and the role of each player who has participated with him since he took on the task of coaching the Egyptian national team. He decided to send Islam Issa to the World Cup as a form of honoring the player.
The Egyptian national team is in Group G of the World Cup, alongside Belgium, New Zealand, and Iran.
