Italian press reports have revealed that Simone Inzaghi, the current coach of Al-Hilal Club, is close to taking over as the coach of the Italian national team in the near future.

The Italian newspaper "Tutto Sport" reported that Inzaghi is one of the leading candidates to coach the Italian national team, amid the uncertainty surrounding his future with Al Hilal.

The newspaper explained that the Italian coach might end his experience with the Saudi team after just one season, as his journey nears its end, making him a strong candidate to take on the managerial role for his national team.

It also pointed to competition for the position, with the names Massimiliano Allegri and Antonio Conte standing out among the list of candidates.

Inzaghi's future with Al Hilal remains undecided for now, awaiting the outcomes of the upcoming period regarding his continuation or departure from coaching the team.
