The national technical director, Fathi Jamal, emphasized that the national technical administration of football in Morocco is undergoing a comprehensive development phase aimed at improving the overall performance of teams at various levels.

Fathi Jamal's statements came during a press conference held today, Tuesday, at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, where he explained that Morocco is now exporting coaching talents abroad, reflecting the development of national expertise.

The technical official revealed the establishment of a special technical unit for the national teams, which works in consultation with the coaches of different categories, with the aim of enhancing the quality of work and improving player preparation across various age groups.

He pointed out that this unit will continuously monitor the players to avoid losing talents during their development stages, relying on field specialists to ensure precise tracking of young talents.

He added that work within the technical administration will be conducted according to a unified approach that connects all age groups, from under 15 to under 23 years old, with the aim of achieving harmony in training and development methods.

He also explained that Morocco relies on a network of scouts inside and outside the country to identify talents, in addition to organizing training camps and continuously monitoring outstanding players.

Fathi Jamal confirmed that football talents are available in various regions of the Kingdom, noting that a recent scouting process for the under-15 age group resulted in the discovery of a large number of outstanding players.

In a related context, the national technical director expressed his support for coach Mohamed Wahbi, affirming his confidence in his ability to lead the Moroccan national team in the upcoming phase, including the commitments related to the 2026 World Cup.

He explained that the current phase requires stability and patience, noting that the team has played friendly matches as part of a preparatory program aimed at building a cohesive and competitive team.

He concluded by emphasizing that the primary goal is to present a strong and competitive national team that reflects the development of Moroccan football and meets the aspirations of the fans in upcoming international events.
