Media reports have revealed the position of German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, captain of Bayern Munich, regarding deciding his future with the Bavarian team, amidst increasing speculation about his next destination.

Neuer, who is 40 years old, is playing his final season under his current contract with Bayern Munich, which was renewed in February 2025, amidst rumors recently linking him to prominent clubs in the English Premier League.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who specializes in transfer news, the veteran goalkeeper is currently not in negotiations with any English clubs, contrary to recent reports.

Romano clarified that Neuer is fully focused on the crucial phase of the season with Bayern Munich, postponing the decision on his personal future until after the end of the current season.

The report indicated that the first option for the German goalkeeper is to continue with the Bavarian club, with a final decision to be made in June, whether to renew his contract for an additional season or announce his retirement after a long career in professional football.

It is noted that Manuel Neuer participated in 32 matches with Bayern Munich during the current season across various competitions, conceding 30 goals.
