Tuesday 14-04-2026
On Tuesday evening, fans are eagerly anticipating a highly anticipated match between Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Shabab as part of the 29th round of the Saudi Roshan League, in a game that holds great significance for both teams.

The referees' committee decided to assign Lithuanian referee Donatas Rumšas to officiate this match, as he is one of the prominent names that have made a significant presence on the European scene in recent years.

Rumsas is 38 years old, and his activities are not limited to refereeing only; he also works as a construction and real estate project manager in Lithuania, reflecting his ability to balance two different career paths.

His refereeing career began in 2011, and he received the international badge in 2016, after which he started officiating matches at both the continental and international levels, culminating in his appearance in the Roshan League this season.

During the current season, the referee officiated three league matches, including the Al-Ittihad vs. Al-Nassr game, which ended with Al-Nassr's victory and received extensive fan and media attention.

Throughout his overall career, Romsaas officiated 341 matches, during which he issued 1,395 yellow cards, 86 red cards, and awarded 105 penalty kicks, reflecting his firm character on the field.

The match between Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Shabab is expected to be closely managed, given the importance of the remaining points and both teams' efforts to strengthen their positions before the end of the season.
