The renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Juventus has entered very advanced talks with Italian midfielder Manuel Locatelli to renew his contract in the near future, in a move aimed at securing one of the team's key pillars for the future.

Locatelli, who plays the role of a defensive midfielder, is considered a key player in Juventus' current project due to his tactical stability and his ability to control the rhythm of the game while performing both defensive and offensive roles.

The 27-year-old player permanently joined Juventus in 2023 from Sassuolo after a successful loan period and has since established himself as an indispensable element in the midfield. He also previously won the Euro 2020 title with the Italian national team.

According to Romano, Juventus management considers Locatelli an important part of the team's future, and therefore seeks to extend his current contract, which runs until 2028, amid a mutual desire between both parties to continue their collaboration for additional years.
