Sky Sports has revealed that Bayern Munich is considering English player Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United as a primary option to strengthen the attacking wing position, making him a direct competitor to the Colombian newcomer Luis Diaz.

According to Sky Sports, Gordon is currently the primary target for the German club, which successfully signed Luis Diaz last summer in a notable deal, and is now looking for an attacking player capable of adding value and competing in the forward line.

Reports have indicated that the English player is attracting significant interest from Bayern Munich, as he is considered the primary target to strengthen the winger position in the upcoming period.

Gordon, aged 25, is considered one of the key players in Newcastle's lineup, having joined the club in January 2023 from Everton for over 45 million euros. He successfully established his position and became an international player with the England national team.

The player's contract with Newcastle extends until 2030 and does not include any release clause, which makes any potential transfer deal complicated, with expectations that his market value could reach around 60 million euros.
