Wisam Abu Ali Announces ACL Injury
The Palestinian player Wissam Abu Ali, star of Columbus Crew, announced the details of the injury he sustained during his participation against Orlando City in the American league.
Abu Ali wrote on his Instagram account: "A new challenge to overcome - unfortunately, I suffered a torn ACL and cartilage yesterday."
He added, "This is just another challenge to come back, and come back stronger than before. I have overcome many difficulties throughout my career."
He continued: "There is a perspective we must not forget, which is that no matter what we go through, there are always those who suffer more. I would like to take this moment to remember all my brothers and sisters around the world - especially the children who are not given the choice between life or death, nor even the chance to dream. This is the real pain."
He continued: "Therefore, this injury is just a small obstacle on the path. God has wisdom in everything. I will come back stronger than before, and I am now excited to start the journey of recovery, with my loved ones by my side."
He continued: "Thank you to all my colleagues, the coaching staff, and the doctors who supported me during the difficult times yesterday."
He concluded, "God places His strongest soldiers in the toughest tests... Praise be to God."
