Significant Suspensions in the Egyptian League Before Al Ahly, Pyramids, and Zamalek Clashes

The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association announced the penalties for the second round of the final stage of the Egyptian Premier League.

The decisions included suspending Al Ahly player Hussein El Shahat for one match and imposing a financial penalty of 5,000 Egyptian pounds on him due to the accumulation of yellow cards (third warning), which will make him miss his team's upcoming match against Pyramids.

It was also decided to suspend Pyramids player Hamed Hamdan for one match, with a fine of 2,500 pounds, after being sent off for receiving two yellow cards, which will make him miss the upcoming match against Zamalek.

In other decisions, Sherif Reda, a Smouha player, was suspended for one match and fined 5,000 pounds, as was Khaled Metwally, another Smouha player, with the same penalty for receiving a third yellow card during the Al Ahly vs. Smouha match.

In the match between Pyramids and Al-Masry, it was also decided to suspend Al-Masry player Mohamed Makhlouf for one match with a fine of 2,500 pounds after being sent off for receiving two yellow cards.

The sanctions also included suspending Ahmed Khalil "Kalusha," an Enppi player, for one match and imposing a fine of 5,000 pounds due to the accumulation of yellow cards during the match between Enppi and Ceramica Cleopatra.

Zamalek leads the league standings with 46 points, while Pyramids is in second place with 44 points, tied with Al Ahly, which is in third place.
