Real Madrid is preparing to face Bayern Munich on Wednesday in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, following their 1-2 loss in the first leg at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Mbappé missed Sunday's training due to a facial injury but returned to participate normally in Monday's training, with a medical adhesive applied to the injury site.

The French player was injured during his team's match against Girona in the 31st round of the Spanish League, which ended in a draw.

Press reports indicated that the injury required medical intervention with three stitches, while the medical team is currently working on preparing a protective measure to safeguard the player's face during matches.

Mbappe is expected to be ready to participate in the match against Bayern Munich as usual, despite the ongoing medical monitoring of his condition.

It is noted that Mbappe's return to participate with Real Madrid has not achieved the desired results so far, as the team played three matches, losing two against Real Mallorca and Bayern Munich, and drawing one against Girona.
