Disciplinary Committee Prepares to Summon El-Shenawy and the Referee of the Ceramica Match
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour confirmed that the Disciplinary Committee of the Egyptian Football Association has not yet reviewed Al Ahly club's complaint against referee Mahmoud Wafa, accusing him of verbally abusing some team players after the match against Ceramica Cleopatra in the league.
Al-Ghandour said on his program "Stad Al-Mahwar" that the committee will meet next week to discuss the complaint.
He pointed out the possibility of summoning the referee and the concerned Al-Ahly players for investigation before the Disciplinary Committee, emphasizing that this procedure entirely depends on first reviewing the details of the complaint before making any official decision.
Al Ahly is currently in third place in the Premier League championship group standings with 44 points.
