UEFA announced the appointment of the refereeing team for the match between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, scheduled to take place as part of the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

The Allianz Arena will host the anticipated clash next Wednesday, as the match takes place on the German team's home ground in a fierce battle to secure a spot in the semi-finals.

UEFA assigned the management of the match to Slovenian referee Slavko Vinčić, with assistance from Tomaz Klancnik and Andraz Kovacic.

The Dutchman Paul van Boekel was appointed for video technology, assisted by his compatriot Dennis Higler.

Bayern Munich enters the match with the advantage of having won the first leg 2-1, which took place at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

The Bavarian team only needs a draw of any result to secure qualification to the semi-finals, while Real Madrid needs to win by a margin of two goals or more to advance to the next round.
