Flick Chasing a Historic Achievement with Barcelona in La Liga
Saturday 11-04-2026
The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' revealed that the Barcelona team under its coach Hans Flick continues to pursue a historic achievement of winning the Spanish league title with 100 points, a number that has only been achieved twice in the history of the competition.

According to the report, Barcelona currently has 76 points, with eight rounds remaining until the end of the season, which means the team needs to win all its remaining matches to reach the 100-point mark and write its name again in the history books.

The report pointed out that the most notable achievement in Barcelona's history was during the 2012/2013 season under the leadership of Tito Vilanova, when the team finished the season with 100 points, after achieving 32 wins and 4 draws against two losses, with 115 goals scored, led by star Lionel Messi who scored 46 goals, and the team scored in all league matches, an achievement not seen since 1944.

The report also explained that Real Madrid was the first to reach this number in the 2011/2012 season under the leadership of José Mourinho after collecting 100 points, achieving 32 victories, 4 draws, and two losses, and scoring 121 goals, led by Cristiano Ronaldo who scored 46 goals.

The report confirmed that Flick's team faces a difficult challenge, as it must achieve full marks in the remaining eight rounds to match this historic figure and join the list of teams that have reached this rare achievement.

Regarding the match schedule, Barcelona will play four home matches against Espanyol, Celta Vigo, Real Madrid, and Real Betis, in addition to four away matches against Getafe, Osasuna, Alavés, and Valencia, where the team will conclude its season on May 24, in a path that does not allow any slip-ups if they want to achieve this big goal.
