French press reports have revealed that veteran coach Didier Deschamps, the current manager of the French national team, is being considered to take over the leadership of Real Madrid starting from the 2026/2027 season.

According to French radio "Radio Monte Carlo," several major clubs in Europe are looking for a coach with extensive experience and are anticipating the end of Deschamps' tenure with the French national team, including Real Madrid.

The radio clarified that Deschamps, who has coached the French national team for 14 years, will resign from his position after the end of the 2026 World Cup next summer.

The reports added that many clubs in Europe and beyond are showing interest in signing Deschamps, as he is considered one of the leading coaches in world football.

The report indicated that despite the good relationship between the club president Florentino Perez and the current coach Álvaro Arbeloa, it seems difficult for him to remain in his position without achieving tangible results in the upcoming period.
