Barcelona Club continues to restructure the communication management within the club, following about a month after the elections, amidst ongoing administrative changes within the Catalan club's media system.

According to the Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo,' the communication management at Barcelona is undergoing a comprehensive reorganization, with Gabriel Martinez in his position since last September, succeeding Alex Santos.

Immediately after the elections, Victor Palacio joined the club, having played a prominent role during the election campaign for Joan Laporta's team, and he previously worked at the Roman agency as the director of the institutional communications department.

In the context of recent changes, it was confirmed on Friday that both Ricard Franco and Ignasi Castillo have left the club.

Ricard Franco joined Barcelona in 2017 and progressed through several positions until he became the head of professional sports press, including football, in 2022, before being assigned this season solely to the sports sections file.

As for Ignasi Castillo, he joined the club in 2023 as the head of institutional communication, coming from the Spanish professional basketball league, before leaving his position amid the current changes in the club's communication management.
