The Saudi Arabian Football Federation resolved the controversy surrounding the statements made by German Matthias Jaissle, the coach of Al-Ahli Saudi FC, and their English striker Ivan Toney, following the match against Al-Fayha in the Saudi Roshn League.

Al-Ahli drew 1-1 with Al-Fayha in the 29th round match held at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, which witnessed widespread refereeing controversy after the match ended.

Yaisle and Toni claimed that the fourth official told the players, "Focus on the Asian championship," which sparked anger and controversy within the sports community, especially given the team's sensitive position in the standings.

According to "Al-Riyadiyah" newspaper, the referees' committee listened to the audio recordings and found nothing incriminating against the fourth official, Abdulrahman Al-Sultan, thereby officially closing the case. Meanwhile, Tony faces potential disciplinary actions if it is proven that he violated media statement regulations.
