Champions League Puts Newcastle Management in a Dilemma
Thursday 09-04-2026
Reports have revealed that Newcastle United may be forced to sell one of its prominent stars, or possibly two, during the upcoming transfer window if the team fails to qualify for the Champions League next season.

According to what was reported by the British network "BBC Sport," the club management may resort to selling some important assets in order to provide the necessary resources to strengthen the team in preparation for the 2026-2027 season.

The report indicated that there are four players who might be available for sale if the right offer comes in: the Italian Sandro Tonali, the Englishman Tino Livramento, his compatriot Anthony Gordon, and the Brazilian Bruno Guimarães.

Newcastle's management is striving to maintain the club's financial balance while continuing to strengthen the team, especially if they fail to secure their participation in the Champions League next season.
