Liverpool FC officially announced that left-back Andy Robertson will leave the team at the end of the season, following the expiration of his contract, bringing an end to a 9-year career at Anfield.

Robertson, aged 32, joined Liverpool from Hull City in 2017 and has successfully played in over 370 matches during this period, becoming one of the most prominent full-backs in the club's history. He also played a key role in the team's golden era.

During his career with "the Reds," the Scottish international won several major titles, most notably the English Premier League twice and the UEFA Champions League, in addition to the FA Cup and other domestic and European trophies, making him a cornerstone of successes in the era of coach Jürgen Klopp.

In an emotional farewell message, Robertson confirmed that the decision to leave was not easy, but he believes it is the right time to start a new phase in his career, amid interest from several European clubs in his services, while he is not currently considering a return to Scotland.
