Hamza Abdel Karim Will Not Participate in the World Cup
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed that Hamza Abdel Karim, the striker for Barcelona Athletic Club in Spain, is not on the final list for the Pharaohs who will compete in the 2026 World Cup.
Al-Ghandour said on the "Stad Al-Mahwar" program that Hossam Hassan, the national team coach, believes there are priorities for the group that participated in the training camps and were relied upon by the head coach in friendly matches.
He added that Hamza Abdelkarim will be one of the key players on which the technical staff will build the core of the Egyptian national team for the upcoming period, specifically after the World Cup.
The Egyptian national team played two friendly matches last March against Saudi Arabia and Spain.
The Pharaohs defeated Saudi Arabia with a score of 4-0, while the match between Egypt and Spain ended in a goalless draw.
