The Spanish international forward Ferran Torres achieved a significant milestone by reaching 200 matches in a Barcelona jersey during the team's encounter against Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals at Spotify Camp Nou.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Torres joined Barcelona during the winter transfer window of the 2021/2022 season and managed to become a key player in the team's lineup due to his versatility and ability to play in various positions. He scored 60 goals for the club over 200 matches, which included 135 wins, 24 draws, and 41 losses.

Torres played these matches distributed as follows: 134 in La Liga, 33 in the UEFA Champions League, 17 in the Copa del Rey, 8 in the UEFA Europa League, and 8 in the Spanish Super Cup, reflecting his continuous rise in importance within the team and his gradual transition into a central striker.

The same source pointed out that his best scoring numbers came under the current coach Hans Flick, as he scored 19 goals in 45 matches last season, and 16 goals this season in 42 matches, ranking him 54th among the club's all-time top scorers. He needs one more goal to move up to 50th place.

In terms of championships, Torres won six official titles with Barcelona, including three Spanish Super Cups in 2022/2023, 2024/2025, and 2025/2026, two La Liga titles in 2022/2023 and 2024/2025, and the Copa del Rey in 2024/2025. As the team progresses in the league and prepares for the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, Torres continues to enhance his scoring records with the club this season.
