Inter Milan has recently intensified its efforts to sign French winger Moussa Diaby from Al-Ittihad as part of its plan to strengthen the squad during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The sporting director Piero Ausilio is leading the negotiations in an attempt to convince the player to return to the Italian league, especially with indications of a strained relationship with his current club.

Diaby has previous experience in Italy when he played with Crotone in 2018, which might help him adapt quickly if his transfer to Inter is completed.

The Italian club attempted to sign the player during the last winter transfer window, but the management of Al-Ittihad refused to let him go, as they were keen on retaining his services due to the importance of his role within the team.

The player expressed his desire to return to Europe, which he had previously communicated to the club's management, increasing the likelihood of his departure in the near future.
