New Escalation by Al-Hilal in the Al-Hamdan Case
Wednesday 08-04-2026
Al Hilal Club is escalating its legal actions regarding Abdullah Al Hamdan's case, despite the Professional Committee's recent decision to reject the complaint filed against Al Nassr's striker.

The Professionalism and Players' Status Committee of the Saudi Federation announced the rejection of the complaint submitted by Al-Hilal, which included accusations against the player of circumventing transfer and registration regulations.

The committee clarified that it accepted the complaint in form but rejected it on substance, granting Al-Hilal the right to appeal to the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center.

The journalist Abdullah Al-Hanyan revealed that Al-Hilal's management intends to file an official appeal, with the possibility of escalating the case to higher legal authorities such as the Dispute Resolution Chamber.

Sources confirmed that the legal administration at Al-Hilal has begun its moves early and possesses strong documents that bolster its position in this ongoing dispute.

The details of the crisis date back to Al-Nassr's contract with Al-Hamdan on the last day of the winter transfer market, before it closed on February 2nd.

The deal came after the player sent an email to Al-Hilal, informing them of the termination of his contract, even though it was originally set to end on February 6th.
