Three Countries Host Africa Cup of Nations 2027 for the First Time
Dennis Mugimba, the head of the Ugandan committee organizing the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, announced the start and end dates of the upcoming tournament, which will be held in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.
Mujimba pointed out in a press conference held on Tuesday that the tournament will kick off in the summer, explaining that the competitions will take place from June 19 to July 18.
He added that Uganda will host some matches at the Mandela National Stadium and the Hoima City Stadium, noting that this edition is the first to be organized in three different countries, none of which have hosted the tournament before.
It is noted that the latest edition of the Africa Cup of Nations was held in Morocco in 2025.
