The Union Plans a European Camp in Preparation for the New Season
Union officials have decided to hold the preparatory camp for the upcoming season in the Spanish city of Marbella, as part of the preparation plan for the launch of the 2026-2027 season.
According to the newspaper “Al Riyadiya,” the camp is scheduled to start in mid-July and continue until its end, as Marbella is one of the preferred destinations for many European and Gulf clubs during the summer preparation period.
The camp program will include the team playing two to three friendly matches, which are currently being coordinated, with the aim of enhancing the technical and physical readiness of the players, according to the vision of the technical staff.
In a related context, reports indicated that the Union's management is considering an alternative option of holding the camp in the city of Cádiz, but with a slight possibility, depending on the arrangements for the friendly matches that will be announced later.
This move comes as part of the Union's effort to strongly prepare for the new season and compete in all local and continental championships.
