Manchester United Football Club announced today, Tuesday, the official renewal of their defender Harry Maguire's contract, reflecting the club's confidence in the player's continued role in their project for the coming years.

The club confirmed in an official statement that Maguire has signed a new contract extending until June 2027, with an option for an additional year, allowing the English defender to continue his career with the Red Devils for a longer period.

Maguire said in statements reported by the club's official website: "Representing Manchester United is the greatest honor. It is a responsibility that makes me and my family feel proud every day."

He continued: "I am happy to continue my journey with this amazing club for at least 8 seasons and to keep playing in front of our wonderful fans to create more historic moments together."
