Bayern Munich defender Joshua Kimmich appeared in a press conference to talk about tomorrow's match against Real Madrid, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

He is a natural leader and a real role model. He has a distinctive mentality for a striker. It will be important to have him on the field tomorrow to provide leadership for the team."

He followed: "Did you watch Real Madrid's matches against Manchester City? I didn't watch the matches, but this is Real Madrid, and here things are sometimes different. We might have expected Manchester City to dominate. So it was impressive to see them qualify. City and Real Madrid have met many times, and Real has qualified several times even when we thought they didn't deserve it, but this time against City, they deserved to qualify."
