Dani Ceballos, the Real Madrid midfielder, is close to returning to play with his team after joining group training in preparation for the upcoming match against Bayern Munich.

Real Madrid will host Bayern Munich tomorrow, Tuesday, in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals for the 2025-2026 season, in a match expected to witness strong competition between the two teams.

The newspaper Marca reported that Ceballos participated in part of the group training session, which was open to the media for 15 minutes, indicating his recovery from the injury that had kept him away from the team in recent times.

The player sustained an injury to his calf muscle, which has kept him from participating since the match against Osasuna in the Spanish league on February 21st.

Ceballos is expected to be included in the team’s squad for the match against Bayern, provided his full readiness is confirmed in the coming hours.

The 29-year-old Spanish midfielder has participated in 22 matches with Real Madrid this season across various competitions, without scoring or assisting any goals.
