The youth team of Barcelona received another setback after the young Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel Karim sustained a minor muscle injury, which sidelined him from participating in the match against Gimnàstic in the Spanish Youth League.

The player is considered one of the most promising talents emerging from La Masia Academy in recent times, having attracted attention since joining, especially as the first Egyptian player to wear the club's jersey in the youth categories, alongside his outstanding attacking abilities.

Hamza had quickly started to establish himself within the team after participating in several matches and successfully scoring crucial goals, before his participation recently declined.

The reports indicated that the injury is not concerning, but it prevented him from being on the team's roster for the last match, and he also missed joining the national team during the international break.
