Al-Ittihad Club revealed updates on the health status of its young player Talal Haji, after he sustained an injury that required surgical intervention during the current period.

The club confirmed in an official statement that the player underwent successful knee surgery at the International Medical Center, the club's medical partner.

The statement clarified that the surgery was conducted to treat an injury to the meniscus, which the player had been suffering from recently and had affected his readiness.

Talal Haji is expected to start a treatment and rehabilitation program in the coming days, in preparation for his gradual return to training.

The coaching staff hopes to have the player back as soon as possible, especially given the need for all team members in the upcoming phase.

The young striker returned to Al-Ittihad's ranks last January after the end of his loan period with Al-Riyadh Club.

In terms of results, Al-Ittihad secured an important victory over Al-Hazm with a 1-0 scoreline in the 27th round of the Saudi Roshn League.

The team occupies the sixth position in the standings with 45 points, accumulated after playing 27 matches this season.
