Real Madrid Places Camavinga on the Transfer Market
Sunday 05-04-2026
Spanish press reports have revealed that Real Madrid may open the door for the departure of French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga during the upcoming summer transfer window, should a suitable offer be presented to the club's management.

According to the Spanish newspaper "AS," Camavinga's position within the team is no longer what it was in previous seasons, as his role has gradually diminished, and he is often used as a substitute option rather than a key player in the midfield.

Reports indicated that the French player has taken on a role similar to that of a "tactical substitute," often participating in La Liga matches that precede Champions League encounters, before being substituted when the team faces challenging moments during the game.

This situation reflects a clear change in the ranking of players within the midfield of Real Madrid, especially with the emergence of other names in the coaching staff's considerations, most notably the Spanish star Thiago Betarch, which has further complicated Camavinga's position within the team.

Although Camavinga is considered one of the young players the club relies on for the long term, Real Madrid's management does not mind considering the idea of selling him if a strong financial offer arrives during the summer, especially given the club's desire to reorganize and build a more balanced project for the upcoming seasons.
