Zamalek Nears Resolution of October Land Issue... A Pleasant Surprise for Fans
Hisham Nasr, Vice President of Zamalek Club, revealed developments regarding the club's land in the 6th of October City, confirming that there are serious moves currently underway to reach a solution that satisfies the White Castle fans.
Nasr explained in television statements that sports investment is still far from achieving large returns compared to European models, noting that clubs with more than one branch rely primarily on real estate returns, which gives this file special importance.
He pointed out that the October land remains in its current state after being withdrawn, but there are alternatives proposed, some of which are in better locations, giving the administration confidence in reaching a suitable solution in the near future.
He added that the club is studying the establishment of new branches in more than one area, including October, Tagamoa, and New Assiut, as part of a plan to expand the club's base and increase its resources.
The Vice President of Zamalek confirmed that the fans are in for positive news, as work is underway to provide an alternative land in the 6th of October City with the same specifications, but in a better location and close to the previous land.
He concluded his statements by thanking the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Housing, along with the concerned authorities, for their support in this file, expressing his hope to finalize the procedures officially in the near future and announce them to the fans.
