Al Ahly Resolves the Controversy, No Official Offers for the Quartet and Postpones Departures File
The journalist Ibrahim Fayek revealed the truth about the rumors regarding Al Ahly receiving external offers to sign several of its stars during the current period.
Fayek confirmed on his program on MBC Egypt that Al Ahly's management has not received any official offers to sign the quartet Mustafa Shobeir, Emam Ashour, Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan, and Ashraf Ben Sharqi.
He pointed out that the club's management has decided to postpone considering any offers or discussing the issue of departing players at the moment, due to the sensitive stage the team is experiencing in the race for the Egyptian Premier League title.
Al Ahly is preparing to play 6 decisive matches in the championship stage, amid strong competition with Zamalek and Pyramids.
Despite reports linking some players with external interests, such as European clubs' interest in Shobeir, potential Saudi offers for Imam Ashour, and Al-Gharafa entering the picture to sign Ben Sharqi, Al Ahly remains fully focused on securing the league title before opening any other files.
