Beşiktaş Aims to Sign Juventus Goalkeeper
Saturday 04-04-2026
Press reports have revealed the interest of the Turkish club Beşiktaş in signing Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio during the upcoming transfer window, as the club seeks to strengthen its goalkeeping position, according to 'Football Italia'.

According to the report, the Italian goalkeeper, who will turn 29 next July, is under contract with Juventus until June 2029, having joined from Monza in the summer of 2024 for 19 million euros plus variables.

Di Gregorio was the team's main goalkeeper at the start of the season, but his performance has recently declined due to some significant errors, leading to him losing his starting position in some matches to goalkeeper Mattia Perin, amid doubts about his future as the first choice next season.

Turkish reports indicated that Beşiktaş prioritizes the player, but prefers to sign him on loan rather than a permanent purchase, especially since the deal's value could reach around 14 million euros, which poses an obstacle to a permanent completion.

During the current season, Di Gregorio participated in 30 official matches with Juventus, managing to keep a clean sheet in 12 matches while conceding 33 goals, making him a strong option in the transfer market despite his recent performance decline.
