Portuguese Referee to Officiate Al-Hilal and Al-Taawoun Match
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation has revealed details of the refereeing team assigned to officiate the match between Al Hilal and Al Taawoun, as part of the Saudi Professional League's Roshn competition.
Al Hilal will face Al Taawoun on Saturday evening as part of the 27th round of the competition, in a match that holds great significance for both teams.
The referees' committee assigned the management of the match to Portuguese referee Luis Godinho as the main referee, assisted by the duo Rui Teixeira and Pedro Muna.
The Saudi referee Sami Al-Juraiss will assume the duties of the fourth official during the match, while Antonio Nobre has been appointed as the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
He is supported in the VAR room by referee Helder Malheiro, as part of the Portuguese team assigned to manage the match.
The match is scheduled to take place at "Kingdom Arena" at 9:00 PM Saudi time, and 10:00 PM UAE time.
Al Hilal enters the match with the aim of securing a victory and continuing to put pressure on the league leader, Al Nassr, who holds 70 points at the top of the standings.
Al Hilal holds the second position with 64 points, while Al Taawoun is in fifth place with 45 points, which increases the importance of the match for both teams.
