According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," coach Hans Flick is not only dealing with the absence crisis involving Raphinha, Frenkie de Jong, and Andreas Christensen, but he also faces an additional challenge concerning players at risk of suspension before the Espanyol derby in the upcoming round, scheduled for April 11 at Spotify Camp Nou.

Both Marc Bernal and Jules Koundé are among the most prominent players at risk of missing the match against Espanyol, as they each have four yellow cards. This means that if either of them receives another card against Atlético Madrid, they will be suspended and miss the anticipated match.

On the other hand, neither Raphinha nor De Jong will be affected by the card situation despite having the same number, as they missed the Atletico match due to injury, which keeps them safe from suspension in the next round.

The report also noted that the duo Pau Cubarsi and Eric Garcia have three yellow cards, putting them one card away from being at risk of suspension before facing Celta Vigo in La Liga, which necessitates increased caution within Barcelona's ranks in the upcoming stage.
