Zamalek officials have set a date for defender Ahmed Hossam's return to group training after recovering from a cruciate ligament injury that kept him out for a long time.

According to "Kora Plus" website, the player is expected to join the team's training starting from the second week of April, after completing the final phase of his rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical staff.

Ahmed Hossam is currently continuing his treatment and rehabilitation program in preparation for a gradual return to match conditions in the upcoming period.

Zamalek is preparing to face Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi on April 5, as part of the first round of the final stage of the Egyptian League Championship. In this match, the team aims to maintain its lead at the top of the standings.
