Zamalek officials have decided to recall player Mohamed Atef, who is currently on loan to Tala'ea El Gaish, starting from the next season as part of their plan to strengthen the team's lineup.

According to "Al-Youm Al-Sabea" newspaper, the decision by Zamalek's management came after the player's impressive performance during his loan period, in addition to the team's need for his technical skills, especially amid the ongoing registration ban crisis due to the cases filed against the club with FIFA.

Reports indicated that the trend within the White Castle is to rely on recalling loaned players instead of making new signings, in order to reduce financial burdens under the current circumstances.

Through this step, the management aims to strengthen the team without incurring additional costs, while maintaining the level of competition in local and continental tournaments.

Zamalek is preparing to face Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi on April 5th, as part of the first round of the final stage of the Egyptian league, in a match where they aim to achieve a strong start.
