Crisis in Al-Ahly Due to Rewards and Penalties Regulations
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed, citing a source within Al-Ahly Club, that there is a sense of discontent among the first team players at Al-Ahly due to the current rewards and penalties regulations, which have sparked widespread objections in the locker room.
Al-Ghandour said on his program "Stadium Al-Mehwar" that the reason for the crisis is due to the mechanism of distributing bonuses implemented by the football manager, which is limited to players included in the squad list only. This measure has upset the excluded and injured players, who considered being deprived of bonuses despite their commitment and constant presence with the team as unfair.
Al-Ghandour confirmed the escalation of the crisis within Al-Ahly due to "double standards" in the regulations; where collective penalties are applied to all players, including those excluded, while the same group is deprived of bonuses.
This situation prompted the players to demand an amendment to the regulations to ensure justice and equality for everyone.
