Bayern Munich Denies Negotiations with Mohamed Salah
Monday 30-03-2026
Bayern Munich has settled the debate regarding its interest in signing the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger, during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The German club's sporting director, Max Eberl, confirmed that the rumors about an official offer to include the player are not true, emphasizing that Salah has not received any offer from Bayern Munich.

These statements came after Ibrahim Hassan, the manager of the Egyptian national team, mentioned European interest in signing the player, including the Bavarian club, alongside Paris Saint-Germain and Italian clubs.

This comes in light of Salah's announcement of his departure from Liverpool at the end of the current season, after agreeing with the club's management to leave for free, despite his contract extending until the summer of 2027, which opened the door to speculation about his next destination.

Salah will turn thirty-four in June next year, while his market value is estimated at around 30 million euros, according to the 'Transfermarkt' website.

Bayern Munich includes winger Luis Diaz in its ranks, who previously played alongside Salah at Liverpool before moving to the German club in the summer of 2025.

The Egyptian star has played 34 matches with Liverpool this season across various competitions, during which he scored 10 goals and provided 9 assists, also contributing to Egypt's reach to the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
