Monday 30-03-2026
The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation issued an official decision to financially penalize Al-Ahli Club following the events in their match against Al-Hilal.

The committee imposed a financial fine of 30,000 riyals on Al-Ahli due to the behavior of its fans during the semi-final match of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup that took place earlier.

The penalty came after some fans threw five water bottles onto the field, in an incident that sparked controversy during the match between the two teams.

The match ended with Al Hilal winning 4-2 on penalties, after both teams were tied 1-1 in regular and extra time.

Al Hilal is expected to meet Al Khulood in the final of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, in an anticipated match to decide the title.

In the league, Al-Hilal is preparing to face Al-Taawoun in the 27th round, while Al-Ahli will play against Damac in the same round.

Al Hilal holds the second position in the Saudi Roshan League standings with 64 points, three points behind the leading team, Al Nassr.
