The management of Al-Nassr Club has made a significant move to strengthen the goalkeeper position before continuing the team's journey in the current season of the AFC Champions League.

The club officials decided to submit an official request to the Asian Football Confederation to register the young goalkeeper, Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi, on the team's continental roster.

This move came after goalkeeper Mubarak Al-Buainain suffered a severe injury with a torn cruciate ligament, in addition to the absence of Raghad Al-Najjar, prompting the management to look for a quick replacement.

The management of Al-Nassr sees registering Al-Otaibi as a suitable solution to fill the gap in this position, especially with the team's need to secure the goalkeeping position in the crucial stage.

Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi is currently participating with the club's youth team in the Joy Elite League, where he has delivered impressive performances that have caught the attention within the club.

Al-Nassr is preparing for a strong match against Al-Wasl of the UAE in the quarter-finals of the tournament, scheduled for April 19th.
