Al Ahly Moves to Bring Back Wissam Abu Ali
Sunday 29-03-2026
Al Ahly officials have set two main conditions for re-signing the Palestinian striker Wissam Abu Ali from Columbus Crew during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to the "Youm7" website, Al Ahly's management has decided to postpone opening official negotiations until after the end of the current season, before moving seriously to finalize the deal.

The first condition is a clear desire from the player to return to the "Red Castle," while the second condition is the American club's agreement to reduce its financial demands, especially since the player moved to Columbus Crew for about $7 million last summer.

This step is part of Al-Ahly management's plan to strengthen the team's ranks with strong signings during the summer transfer window, in addition to restructuring the roster by releasing some players who did not deliver the expected performance this season.

Al-Ahly hopes to quickly regain its balance after recent setbacks, including exits from the African Champions League, the Egypt Cup, and the Egyptian League Cup, in its quest to return strongly to the podiums of victory.
