Cole Palmer Considers Leaving Chelsea
Sunday 29-03-2026
The English star Cole Palmer has started contemplating his future with Chelsea, amid signs of declining enthusiasm within the team, as the summer transfer window approaches.

According to press reports, the player feels frustrated due to the change in playing style, which has affected his roles on the field, along with a lack of offensive cohesion following the loan of Nicolas Jackson, in addition to a decline in his performance due to injuries.

Palmer had an outstanding season earlier, during which he scored 18 goals and provided 14 assists, benefiting from the great understanding with Jackson in the front line.

Pressure is mounting within the team, led by coach Liam Rosenior, as they currently hold the sixth position in the league, facing the risk of not qualifying for the Champions League. This is compounded by negative results, most notably their European exit against Paris Saint-Germain and a heavy defeat to Everton.

On the other hand, the player is attracting interest from several major clubs, most notably Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, with reports suggesting he is inclined towards the idea of returning to Manchester.

Nevertheless, Chelsea is keen on retaining the player, who is under a long-term contract until 2033, making any move to acquire him in the near future complicated from a negotiation standpoint.
