Al-Ahly Club denied recent rumors about entering negotiations with certain players in preparation for signing them during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Some reports had indicated potential negotiations with foreign players, most notably Brazilian Lucas Moura, in addition to some local players in the Nile League. However, the club issued an official statement confirming that this news is completely untrue.

The statement clarified that Al-Ahly is currently focusing on the league competition, which it aims to win, noting that potential interests in some players are part of a general plan to support the team with the best elements, without engaging in any official negotiations with any player or club as rumored.

The club affirmed its complete confidence in the current team roster and the coaching staff led by Danish coach Jes Thorup, emphasizing support for all players and the technical management to achieve victory in the league title.

This comes after Al Ahly's exit from the African Champions League, following their 4-2 loss to Tunisian side Esperance in the quarter-finals, a match that impacted the team's path in the continental tournament.
