Zamalek received an official notification from CR Belouizdad regarding the rescheduling of the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.

According to press reports, it has been decided that the first leg will be held on April 10 instead of the 12th of the same month, with the return leg scheduled for April 17, in a decisive match to determine the finalist.

Zamalek reached this stage after surpassing Chabab Belouizdad with a 2-1 aggregate score in the quarter-finals, following a draw in the first leg and a victory in the return leg.

On the other hand, CR Belouizdad successfully advanced to the semifinals after eliminating Al Masry Port Said, benefiting from the away goals rule following a 1-1 draw away from home and then a goalless draw in the return leg.

The anticipated clash between the two teams is considered one of the strongest matches of the tournament, given each side's ambition to reach the final and compete for the continental title.
