Juventus Opens Negotiations with Kessié Amid Significant Salary Gap
Friday 27-03-2026
Tuttosport revealed that Juventus is closely monitoring the situation of Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessié, as part of their efforts to strengthen their squad in the upcoming period.

According to the report, officials from the Italian club held a meeting with the player's agent last January, as an initial step to explore the possibility of completing the deal and the terms of his transfer.

The newspaper explained that Juventus made an initial offer that includes an annual salary of 5 million euros, in addition to bonuses, which reflects the club's seriousness despite the significant gap with the player's current salary.

Kessié currently earns about 20 million euros annually, making the deal financially complex, requiring significant concessions from the Al-Ahli Saudi player or finding a compromise between the parties.

Kessié had moved to Al-Ahli in the summer of 2023 from Barcelona, with a contract extending until June 2026.

The player has participated in 110 matches with Al-Ahli in various competitions, scoring 23 goals and providing 12 assists, reflecting his significant impact within the team.
