A New Step by Juventus to Convince Lewandowski to Leave Barcelona
Friday 27-03-2026
Press reports have revealed a serious move by the Italian club Juventus to sign the Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, a Barcelona player, in the upcoming period as part of their efforts to strengthen the attack line.

The Spanish newspaper "Sport" reported that the Italian club has intensified its efforts to persuade Lewandowski not to renew his contract with Barcelona under reduced terms, and is working to include him as part of the team's project in the short and medium term, showing significant interest in completing the deal.

The newspaper clarified that Juventus sent an envoy to Poland during the international break, where they were present in the stands of the Poland vs. Albania match, to communicate with the player and affirm the club's desire to sign him, in a move aimed at demonstrating serious interest before starting to plan for the new season.

The report indicated that Lewandowski has become Juventus' first choice to strengthen their attack, while the club is also looking to renew Dusan Vlahovic's contract. Meanwhile, Randal Kolo Muani is considered an alternative option, especially since he is currently on loan from Paris Saint-Germain to Tottenham and is open to the idea of moving to the Italian league.

The newspaper confirmed that any official moves from Juventus will remain on hold until Lewandowski finalizes his decision, especially since the player previously stated that he would not make his decision before the end of the season, awaiting a renewal offer from Barcelona.

For his part, Joan Laporta, the president of FC Barcelona, indicated the club's intention to make an offer to retain the Polish striker, although the expected contract would be short-term with a significant salary reduction, given the player's desire to continue, while also considering other available offers according to the sports project and financial value.

Lewandowski is also considering other options, including continuing to compete in Europe with clubs like Juventus or Milan, or embarking on a new experience in the American league, where he might receive offers from clubs like Chicago Fire and Orlando City, in addition to significant financial offers from Turkey. Meanwhile, the idea of moving to the Saudi league seems unlikely due to family reasons.
