The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' revealed the interest of several Premier League clubs in signing Alejandro Balde, the left-back of Barcelona, during the upcoming period, given the outstanding performances the player is delivering with the Catalan team.

According to the newspaper's report, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Aston Villa have already inquired about Balde's status within Barcelona, although this interest has not yet turned into official offers on the club's table.

Alejandro Balde's contract with Barcelona extends until June 30, 2028, and he is considered one of the most prominent young talents in his position, thanks to his high physical abilities, great speed, and technical quality, in addition to being a graduate of La Masia academy, which increases his value in the transfer market, especially for Premier League clubs that are closely monitoring him.

The newspaper, citing sources close to the player, explained that the English interest has been ongoing for a while and is considered serious, but Balde is currently not thinking about leaving Barcelona, as he is fully focused on continuing with the team he grew up with and considers his home.

In the same context, the Spanish newspaper pointed out that Barcelona's management does not intend to let go of the player's services at the moment, although any substantial financial offer may be considered in the future given the club's economic situation, provided the player agrees to leave.

Balde insists on his desire to continue within Barcelona's ranks, prioritizing staying, and aims to establish himself as a key element in the team's sports project. The player is the first choice for coach Hans Flick in the left-back position.

Stability plays an important role in the player's stance, especially given his strong relationship with his teammate Lamine Yamal, one of the team's prominent elements, which enhances his chances of remaining with the club.

On the other hand, Balde enjoys the support of his agent Jorge Mendes, who has a strong relationship with Barcelona's president Joan Laporta. The Portuguese agent has confirmed on several occasions that the player is very happy within the club and is not thinking of embarking on a new experience currently.

Although his contract still extends for several years, the newspaper indicated that the issue of contract renewal may be raised in the upcoming period, without any urgency, with the next season being decisive in discussing the extension of the contract between the parties.
