According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Youm," this adjustment is made to give Al-Hilal additional time to prepare for their anticipated match against Qatar's Al-Sadd in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League Elite, scheduled to take place on the 13th of the same month.

This decision comes amid the pressure of matches faced by Al Hilal, as they engage in strong competitions both domestically and continentally. They are currently in second place in the league standings with 64 points after 26 rounds.

The Blue Team is also preparing to face Japan's Vissel Kobe in the quarter-finals of the continental championship on April 16, making it necessary to manage the schedule to optimally prepare the team.
