The Truth About Al-Ahly Requesting Foreign Referees for Its League Matches
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour confirmed that Al-Ahly's management did not request foreign referees for the remaining matches of the Red Team in the Premier League.
Al-Ghandour said on Facebook: "As of today, Al-Ahly has not officially contacted the Football Association to bring in foreign referees for all its six matches in the league's championship stage and has not sent the required financial amounts, even though the regulations state that this request must be made two weeks before the matches. So, will Al-Ahly request foreign referees for the matches against Zamalek and Pyramids?"
Al Ahly will face Ceramica Cleopatra on Tuesday, April 7th, in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League's championship stage.
Al Ahly occupies the third position in the league standings with 40 points, while Ceramica is in fourth place with 38 points.
